The Scandinavian Academy Tournament U19 is coming to Marbella, a new international event organised by Marbella Football Center. The tournament will feature the 8 best U19 teams from Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
The participants are FK Molde, Strømsgodset IF, FC Kobenhavn, Aalesund FK, Hammarby Fotboll, Esbjerg FB, BK Hacken and FC Midtjylland.
The fixture list for the first matchday is as follows:
12:00 – FC Kobenhavn – Aalesund FK in Dama de Noche.
14:00 – Hammarby Fotboll – Esbjerg FB in Dama de Noche.
16:30 – BK Hacken – FK Molde in Marbella Football Center.
18:30 – FC Midtjylland – Strømsgodset IF in Marbella Football Center.
To this new championship organised by Marbella Football Center the teams have entered according to their position in the local championship. During 10 days we will discover the best of these teams.
Next Sunday 28th of November the ball will start rolling and on the 6th of December the last match will take place. The 8 teams will form two groups and will play against the opponent who has achieved the same position in the other group.
The first two teams will face each other for first and second place, the second two for third and fourth place, and so on.
All matches will be played at the Marbella Football Center and Dama de Noche facilities.
The Qatar national team today concluded its training camp on the Costa del Sol. The Asian team has been staying in Marbella Football Center since Monday 15th, preparing for the FIFA Arab Cup 2021.
During this time, Felix Sanchez Bas has demanded a lot from his men, holding morning and afternoon training sessions. A great deal of physical, technical and tactical work has been done to ensure that the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup will be played in the best possible condition.
In addition to the training sessions, the Qataris were also able to play a warm-up game. The team played against Real Balompédica Linense in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
Now our friends are going home, where they will host this important international tournament in which we wish them the best of luck.
In a week’s time, the Qatar national team will face Bahrain in what will be their first match in the FIFA Arab Cup. The team will leave the Costa del Sol tomorrow to return home, where they will start thinking about their first match.
After 10 days of intense preparation (including a friendly match), Félix Sánchez Bas’ men return home with their work done. Now it’s time to give everything to get the best possible result.
Our friends will kick off on 30 November at 17:30, when they take on Bahrain. They will then play two more matches against Oman and Iraq.
The second group match will be on 3 December against Oman at 14:00. The last group match will be on 6 December, this time against Iraq at 20:00.

The senior national team of Qatar drew 1-1 today with Real Balompédica Linense in a friendly match organised by Marbella Football Center. It is the only match of the Asian team during their 10 days stay on the Costa del Sol.
The match kicked off at 17:00 and was full of intensity. The 1-1 result did not do justice to what the Asians showed on the pitch. But you could see a well positioned team with a good teamplay.
With just over a week to go until their FIFA Arab Cup opener, the Qataris are putting the finishing touches to their preparations. Aiming to perform well in a tournament they are hosting, our friends are giving their all during the 10 days of preparation with Marbella Football Center.
The Qatari national team has already completed half of its 10-day training camp on the Costa del Sol. Today was the 5th day of training, which the Asian team carried out in double sessions, morning and afternoon.
During their work at the Marbella Football Center, the Qatar national team is working a lot on tactical work. Felix Sanchez Bas wants to get the most out of his men, not only physically and technically, in preparation for the FIFA Arab Cup 2021.
That is why, in addition to training on the grass in a pleasant temperature of 18 degrees, the Qataris are working in the gym. Without leaving the facilities of the Marbella Football Center, they can do all kinds of training sessions.
On 30th November, our friends will face the Bahrain national team at the Al Bayt Stadium and they want to arrive in the best possible shape.
The Qatar national team has been training since last Monday at the Marbella Football Center. The Asian team will stay on the Costa del Sol for 10 days.
The team is training in double sessions, mornings and afternoons. During their stay, the men led by Spanish coach Felix Sanchez Bas will play a preparation match.
Today is the third training day of their 10-day training camp. During this time they will play a preparation match. Soon they will participate in the FIFA Arab Cup 2021, that’s why they have come to Marbella, to make the best preparation with Marbella Football Center.
Between the 30th of November and the 18th of December this important international tournament will be played in Qatar itself. A total of 16 teams have reached the final phase, in which our friends are placed in group A with Iraq, Oman and Bahrain.
Today has concluded the U18 & U19 Friendly Match Week, which has allowed our friends from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Ireland and Norway to play top level matches.
During their stay on the Costa del Sol, all the teams were able to play 2 friendly matches before returning to their respective countries.
The event has been played in spectacular weather, which has accompanied all the teams that have been concentrated in the different facilities managed by Marbella Football Center. Although all the matches were played at Atalaya Football Pitches and La Quinta Football Fields.

Slovakia U19 – Czech Republic U19 1-2.
Sweden U18 – Ireland U18 2-2.
Slovakia U19 – Norway U19 1-1.

Now all the young players return to their respective teams trying to have done enough to convince the manager that they should continue to be part of the national team.
The first two matches of the U18 & U19 Friendly Match Week took place yesterday. A draw between Sweden and Ireland and a Czech victory over neighbours Slovakia.
With sunny days and very favourable weather, the teams are enjoying a quiet stay, which allows them to work in the best conditions.
In the first match the U18 teams of Sweden and Ireland put on a great show at Atalaya Football Pitches (Estepona), which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Almost simultaneously, the match at La Quinta Football Pitches got underway, in which the Czech U-19 beat Slovakia U-19 by 1-2. Another high level game, in which the Czechs dominated the scoreboard for most of the match.
Only Norway U19 have not yet made its debut in the U18 & U19 Friendly Match Week. But they will do so tomorrow at 15:30 in La Quinta, when they will face Slovakia U19. At the same time we will have matches on Sunday and Monday.
On Sunday the Sweden U18 and Ireland U18 teams will meet again, again in Atalaya. On Monday Norway U19 and the Czech U19 will play their second match at La Quinta, concluding the event.
A new event that will bring together U18 and U19 teams in Marbella has been presented this morning at Marbella Football Center. The event was attended by Enrique Pérez Serichol (co-owner of MFC) and the Councillor for Sports Manuel Cardeña.
Sweden (U18), Ireland (U18), Czech Republic (U19), Norway (U19) and Slovakia (U19) will participate in this tournament, staying between 6 and 8 days on the Costa del Sol.
During the presentation, the importance of sports tourism was discussed, as well as its definitive recovery, which seems to be very close.
Marbella Football Center is positioned as a leader in the creation of international national team tournaments and Enrique Pérez highlighted, among other things, the arrival of numerous scouts from the most important clubs in the world. Many of these clubs have their eyes fixed on MFC, as they know the amount of talent that passes through our facilities, especially in this type of event.
The event will consist of 5 matches, 2 of which will be played today. The first will be the Slovakia U19 – Czech U19 at La Quinta Football Fields at 15:30 and the second the Sweden U18 – Ireland U18 at Atalaya Football Pitches at 16:00.

Following the arrival of Sweden, Ireland and Slovakia, Norway and the Czech Republic are the latest to land on the Costa del Sol to join the U18 & U19 Friendly Match Week.
A week of elite football in which we will see some of the best young players on the planet. Five matches in which the promising young players will be able to prove their worth as well as grow as a group with a view to future international events.
Some of the participating teams have already trained at their respective training camps. However, other teams will hold their first training session tomorrow.
