This is the first team of a busy summer pre-season at Marbella Football Centre. In future posts we will report on the teams that will be arriving over the coming weeks.
Summer is approaching and with it the pre-seasons prior to the start of most of the leagues in the world. Last year, due to COVID restrictions, very few teams came to us, but this year there will be many teams requesting our services, both Spanish and foreign.
Over the next few weeks, a large number of clubs will pass through the facilities managed by Marbella Football Center on the Costa del Sol and the Mediterranean coast.
Important teams will be concentrating with us, training on our pitches and will be able to play top level friendlies. Thanks to this, they will be 100% ready for the start of their respective national leagues.
As every summer, some of the best players from all over the world come to the Marbella Football Center to prepare a goal, recover or simply keep fit.
If in previous occasions we have seen players like Lucas Vázquez, Joe Hart, Nacho or Fernando Llorente, in these weeks and the next ones the attendance of these players is going to be much higher. Some like Daley Blind or Martin Braithwaite came to prepare for Euro 2021, others will come in the coming days or weeks.
These top players are taking the opportunity to do all kinds of tasks. In addition to working out in our state-of-the-art gym, they also work on the pitch, shoot at goal, practice skills, etc… All in an atmosphere of maximum privacy.

Stays of a week and a half on average, during which all teams have been able to play friendlies against each other or against third teams. The possibility to offer these friendlies is what gives the clubs and national teams an added value when they visit Marbella Football Centre.
The hotels have complied with the sanitary protocol and the teams have been very happy during their stays. As well as the training facilities, which have offered the teams ideal conditions for training.
As for the Olympic teams event, it has also been a success and the teams have been able to prepare for Tokyo 2021.
