This week several friendly Football Impact teams have played first leg of the UEFA Champions League 2019/2020 qualifier in the last round before the group stage with good results.
On Tuesday, czech Slavia Prague and belgian Bruges played and beat romanian Cluj and austrian LASK Linz, respectively, by 0-1.
Vaneken scored and put Bruges ahead with a penalty goal within ten minutes of a match in which He did not particularly lavish himself in attack in Bruges.
While Lukas Masopust signed in the 28th minute the goal of Slavia’s victory with a spectacular shot from outside the box on his visit to the Romanian Cluj field, he squandered a penalty in the 78th minute.
And on Wednesday, Young Boys and Red Star tied two goals with goals from Assale and Hitman Hoarau scored for the Swiss, while Degenek and Mateo Garcia scored for the Serbs.
The playoffs, however, must be solved on the return and from Football Impact we wish the best of luck to our friendly teams.
