The first two matches of the U18 & U19 Friendly Match Week took place yesterday. A draw between Sweden and Ireland and a Czech victory over neighbours Slovakia.
With sunny days and very favourable weather, the teams are enjoying a quiet stay, which allows them to work in the best conditions.
In the first match the U18 teams of Sweden and Ireland put on a great show at Atalaya Football Pitches (Estepona), which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Almost simultaneously, the match at La Quinta Football Pitches got underway, in which the Czech U-19 beat Slovakia U-19 by 1-2. Another high level game, in which the Czechs dominated the scoreboard for most of the match.
Only Norway U19 have not yet made its debut in the U18 & U19 Friendly Match Week. But they will do so tomorrow at 15:30 in La Quinta, when they will face Slovakia U19. At the same time we will have matches on Sunday and Monday.
On Sunday the Sweden U18 and Ireland U18 teams will meet again, again in Atalaya. On Monday Norway U19 and the Czech U19 will play their second match at La Quinta, concluding the event.
