After their arrival to the Costa del Sol on April 1st, the New Zealand’s Women National Team is preparing for the World Cup in France this summer. The team has chosen Football Impact despite being the farthest option on the planet, right at the antipodes, at almost 20,000 km.
In the pictures we can watch the oceanic team training on the lawn of Arroyo Enmedio (Estepona). With two months to go before the start of the World Cup, this stage is key for the team to make a good performance during the tournament.
The New Zealand team also participated in the World Cup 2015, although in 2019 it hopes to improve the results of the previous edition. To do so, they will have to face Netherlands, Canada and Cameroon for a place in the round of 16.
The debut of the team in the competition will be next June 11th against Netherlands, and from the Costa del Sol we will be supporting our friends, the “Kiwis”.
The Marbella Friendly Match Week U21 2019 finished a week ago. 2 days of soccer, and 10 U21 teams that offered 9 games to football lovers.
The future stars of international football met in Marbella. The national teams that joined this tournament were: Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, Mexico, Scotland, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Romania and Denmark. A total of 28 goals in 9 games, anl average of more than three goals per game.
Romania and Denmark will participate next June in the U21 European Championship to be held in San Marino. The teams have seized the Friendly Match Week U21 to prepare this important event.
March is the month with fewer teams but with more countries represented: 13 clubs and 14 national teams from 17 different countries.
Again Norway has been the country with the highest representation, with the U21 team and ten clubs: Rosenborg, Notodden, Aalesund, HamKam, Tromsdalen, Strommen, Sogndal, Bodo Glimt, Brann and Kristiansund.
The only clubs in addition to the Norwegians in March were FC Cartagena, Inter Turku and Dinamo Brest. The rest have been U20, U21 and U22 national teams. The national teams that have worked with Football Impact in March have been:
The Winter Break 2019 ends, but in Football Impact the activity never stops, and we already have many exciting projects with which to surprise our fans.
In addition to the organized matches we are honored to have worked k in the second half of the month of March with the Spanish Football Federation, with the U21 team. In the video we can see the gratitude from the technical staff of “La Rojita” to the Football Impact representatives, for the attention and the treatment received during their stay in Marbella.
The month of February brought us a total of 38 teams from 12 different countries: England, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Wales, Belgium, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden.
The most represented country during this month was clearly Norway, with a total of 21 teams from the Eliteserien and the OBOS-ligaen (first and second division): Molde, Haugesund, Mjondalen, Kongsvinger, Valerenga, Lillestrom, Sandefjord, Viking Stavanger, Tromso, Sarpsborg 08, Stromsgodset, Stabæk, Ranheim, Ull / Kisa, Nest-Sotra, Sandnes, KFUM Oslo, Raufoss, Skeid, Jerv eIK Start.
It also highlights in the second month of the year, the presence of four England teams: Liverpool FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United and Brighton FC.
Four teams from Russia also arrived, the women’s national team, FC Rostov, Lokomotiv and UFA.

The month of January was the busiest, we had a total of 54 first level teams from 16 different countries: France, Holland, Germany, China, Czech Republic, Belgium, Russia, Romania, Switzerland, Hungary, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovenia, USA, Norway and Sweden.
Netherlands: Feyenoord, Ajax F, NEC Nijmegen, Pec Zwolle, Willem II, FC Emmen and Excelsior Rotterdam (7 teams)
Alemnia has been the country with the most representatives, a total of 17, which are: Borussia Dortmund, the Women’s National Team. Borussia Monchengladbach, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Mainz 05, SC Freiburg, Karlsrher SC, FC Kaiserlautern, Hamburg SV, Union Berlin, VFL Bochum, Arminia Bielefeld.
The second country with more representatives in January was China, we were visited by the U-25 national team, as well as some of the most important teams in the country, such as Tianjin Teda, Shanghai Shenhua, Beijing Renhe, Wuhan Zall and Dalian Yinfang. A total of 6 representatives.
Three historical teams arrived from the Czech Republic: Slavia Praha, Sparta Praha and Viktoria Plzen.
Five have been the Swiss teams that visited us in January: FC Basel, FC Luzern, Winterthur, Lausanne Sport and FC Will 1900.
So far the most represented countries, those with less representation have been: France (RC Lens), Russia (Krasnodar), Romania (Steaua Bucharest and Concordia Chiajna), Hungary (MOL Vidi and Puskas Academy), Ukraine (Dinamo Kiev), Bulgaria (CSKA Sofia), Slovenia (National Team), USA (New England Revolutions), Norway (Sarpsborg 08 and Oostersunds FK) and Sweden (Malmö FF).
With the celebration yesterday of the second day of Friendly Match Week U21 2019, Winter Break 2019 has ended. This year less than 90 days of Winter Break have left us a number close to 200 games.
182 matches distributed by different points of the Spanish coast, mainly in the Costa del Sol, Murcia and Benidorm. More than 2 games a day on average, which place Football Impact as a leading company in the sector, as well as a powerful economic engine for the tourist sector in the low season.
A total of 119 teams and national teams from 33 different nationalities have performed these games.Many of the most important teams from England, Germany, Holland, China, France, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Hungary, Ukraine, Finland, Belarus, Norway, Sweden, Estonia , United States … they visited us in the first quarter of the year.
But not only clubs, but also we have been visited by some of the most prominent national federations. Women’s and junior teams from Belgium, Argentina, Uruguay, Poland, Ireland, Slovakia, Saudi Arabia, Wales, Russia, Romania, Denmark, Sweden, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, Mexico, Scotland, Finland and Norway have also participated in matches organized by Football Impact.
The Women National Teams of Norway and New Zealand will debut the second quarter of Football Impact’s 2019 season. Just finished the Winter Break, the activity continues with these two women national teams.
Both national teams will arrive on the Costa del Sol next April 1st, to perform a 10 days stage. The Scandinavians will train in Dama de Noche (Marbella), and the New Zealanders will train in Arroyo Enmedio (Estepona).
Both federations visit the Costa del Sol to prepare the next World Cup in June in France. It will be the eighth edition of the highest women’s football tournament.
Norway will face Nigeria in the first game in Group A, wich is also joined by France and South Korea.
New Zealand will debut against Netherlands, having also to face Canada and Cameroon, their other rivals of Group E.
The football federations of Argentina, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia, played today the last game of their stay in Murcia with Football Impact. Pinatar Arena hosted all the matches of the 3 national teams but two, which have been played at Estadio Cartagonova (Cartagena), Argentina – Saudi Arabia and Uruguay – Ukraine.
Football Impact has organized the stages and friendly matches of these three teams, as well as the matches during their stay Murcia. Argentina has been the most active team, with three games, but Saudi Arabia and Uruguay have played two.
The results have been the following:
France won Argentina by the minimum.
Saudi Arabia was defeated 2-0 by Uruguay.
Argentina beat Japan 1-0.
Argentina endorsed a resounding 5-0 to Saudi Arabia.
Uruguay – Ukraine has finished with victory for Europeans by 1-2.
The three teams will play the U-20 World Cup next May in Poland. Uruguay is the favorite of Group C and will debut against Norway, another federation friend of Football Impact.
Saudi Arabia is in Group E, and will also debut with another friend of Football Impact, the French federation.
In Group F we find Argentina, who will debut against South Africa, and is always very competitive in any international competition.
The Spanish U21 national team won by 3-0 to Austria. today at the Stadium Nuevo Mirador It is the second match for the men coached by Luis de la Fuente during their stage on the Costa del Sol.
Carlos Soler showed why he is one of the most important players in the squad with two goals, in the 53rd and 61st. Marc Roca (RCD Espanyol) completed the 3-0 that showed the superiority of the Spanish team at a tactical and technical level.

Tomorrow the second and final day of the Marbella Friendly Match Week U21 2019 will take place. Five matches will be held in Marbella, 2 in Marbella Football Center, 2 in the Municipal Stadium of Marbella and one in Dama de Noche.
The first match will be staged by Scotland and Sweden, which will face each other at Marbella Football Center starting from 12:30.
At 14:00, Finland (which comes from beating Norway) will face Bulgaria, which was defeated by Northern Ireland. This match will start at 14:00 at the Municipal Stadium of Marbella.
After lunch, the first match will be played by Russia and Norway. It will be in Dama de Noche from 16:00. The Russians won their first match against Sweden, while the Norwegians suffered a heavy defeat against Finland.
At 18:00, Marbella Football Center will host a new match, Romania U21 and Denmark U20 will play their first and only match in this international event.
Finally, Mexico U22 and Northern Ireland U20 will close this international event at the Municipal Stadium of Marbella from 19:00.
