MFC and FI ready for Winter Break 2021
17 December, 2020
At the MFC and FI facilities, we are already prepared for the start of an exciting new Winter Break. The first days of 2021 will bring us teams from all over the planet to the Costa del Sol and the communities of Valencia and Murcia, thanks to the anti-COVID measures.
At MFC and FI we have been able to continue to receive teams thanks to the exceptional effort of the staff and the demanding anti-COVID measures adopted by both FI and MFC.
Thanks to these measures, we have been receiving teams in mid December. In fact, we ended the year with the Stade de Rennais, which was on the Costa del Sol until December 12th.
With the change of grass implemented in all our facilities, now we only have to wait a scarce 2 weeks. After this time we will be able to see the best teams in the world playing friendlies organized by Football Impact. Each Winter Break there are more than 200 friendly matches.

Rennes win after their stage in MFC
15 December, 2020
FC Stade Rennais beat Nice on Sunday after passing through Marbella Football Center. The team flew directly from Malaga to Nice, where they got these important points.
After a 3-day stage on the Costa del Sol, our friends managed to win the 3 points from the Allianz Riviera, the OGC Nice stadium.
A goal by M’Baye Niang between the goalkeeper’s legs, after taking advantage of a mistake by the Nice defense, gave the victory to our Breton friends.
With this victory, Julien Stephan’s team approaches Angers and Monaco, from whom they cut 2 and 3 points respectively.
From the Costa del Sol we will follow our friends, hoping that their visit to Marbella Football Center has helped them to achieve their goals.

Rennes leaves the Costa del Sol
13 December, 2020
FC Stade Rennais leaves the Costa del Sol after a 3-day stage at Marbella Football Center. The French team today faces Nice, a direct rival, from which they are separated by only one point in the standings.
After enjoying 3 days of good temperatures, the team coached by Julien Stephan returns home to continue fighting to climb positions in Ligue 1.
The Bretons have not started the national competition in the best way. Especially if we think that last year they were third and they qualified for the Champions League.
But, after this stage, the team hopes to climb positions in the table and get closer to the European positions, of which only 7 points separate them. With more than half a competition still to be played, we are sure that our friends will achieve their goals at the end of the season.

Today FC Stade Rennais has performed its third day of training at Marbella Football Center. The French team takes advantage of the good weather prevailing in Marbella, more typical of a spring-autumn than a December day, in the middle of winter.
The team will visit the stadium of Nice tomorrow, and are making the most of their stay on the Costa del Sol. With a relaxed atmosphere, the French are taking advantage of this stage to disconnect and charge their batteries for 2021.
After visiting Nice, the team will host Olympique de Marseille and visit the FC Lorient stadium with the intention of climbing some positions in Ligue 1. Only 4 points separate them from AS Monaco FC, the last team in European positions and this is their goal.

Cádiz CF, in Europa League positions
8 December, 2020
Cádiz CF, a friend of Football Impact, is currently fifth in LaLiga Santander, just two points behind Real Madrid. The Andalusian team performed the preseason with Football Impact this summer, facing teams of the level of Almería, Espanyol, Málaga or Betis.
The team from Cádiz held a stage on the Costa del Sol and trained on the Dama de Noche grass. During their stay, the team played several friendly matches, which helped them prepare for this important season, with the return to the first division.
With victories over Real Madrid, Barça and Athletic, Álvaro Cervera’s team has the label of “giant killers”. Beyond beating the big boys, the important thing is that the team has achieved a total of 18 points in the 12 games played, getting a large part of the points necessary to save itself.
A great Álvaro Negredo, as well as Espino, Fali or Ledesma, are taking the team flying to the top of the rankings.
From Football Impact we are pleased to see our friends achieving their goals. This shows us that technical and tactical work, as well as first-rate preparation are key to obtaining the maximum performance from the squad.

Winter grass for Marbella Football Center
6 December, 2020
Since a few days ago all the facilities of Marbella Football Center have winter grass, more prepared to withstand inclement weather. Bermuda grass, the type of grass typical of summer, has been replaced.
Gradually, during the months of October and November, the facilities have been replanted so that there are always training camps available for our clients.
At Marbella Football Center we are aware of the importance of maintaining a top quality lawn. Only in this way can we get the best teams in the world to put their eyes on our facilities and decide to perform a stage with us.
Fast growing winter grass roots very easily and allows lower cuttings than other varieties. In addition, it resists footfalls very well. Dark green in color, it has an extraordinary density.

FC Steaua București, a regular customer of Football Impact, leads League 1, the first division of Romanian football with a record of 9 wins and only two losses in the 11 matchdays. With a total of 31 goals in favor, the team doubles in goals almost all the teams in the championship. 6 points behind Steaua we find another friend from Football Impact, in third position, CFR Cluj.
After finishing day 10th, Steaua and U. Craiova had the same points, but a tie for the seconds, gave the lead to our friends from Bucharest. With 0.9 goals per game each, Tanase and Man are leading the team to the rank top. The team has an average of almost 3 goals per game, which has led them to the leadership.
Last January, the Romanian team visited us as they do every year for the Winter Break. During this period on the Costa del Sol, the team took the opportunity to complement its training with first-rate friendly matches. FC Basel and FC Lokomotiv Moscow were some of its rivals.
