The first day of the Champions League was played yesterday and Tuesday, with mixed results for friends of Football Impact. The most fortunate was FC Lokomotiv of Moscow, which got the victory in Leverkusen.
Our friends from Dortmund played a great game against Barça, although they could not take the victory, colliding with a huge Ter Stegen.
The current champion, Liverpool, was defeated against SSC Napoli during his visit to San Paolo. A goal by Fernando Llorente, who made his preseason at Marbella Football Center, killed the match for the Italians.
Inter and Slavia from Prague, both regular customers, tied 1-1in Milan, leaving both with a point in the group F.
Day 4 of LaLiga Santander and 5 of LaLiga Smartbank have brought all kinds of results for the friends of Football Impact who visited us this year.
While the Andalusians Sevilla FC and Granada CF won at home, SD Eibar was defeated against RCD Espanyol in Ipurúa. RCD Mallorca and Real Valladolid tied against Athletic Club and CA Osasuna respectively.
Sevilla FC leads the ranking of the highest category of Spanish football, followed by Atlético de Madrid, Real Madrid, Athletic Club and FC Barcelona. After this select group we find Granada CF, which ties with 7 points with Barça. Osasuna and Valladolid rank ninth and twelfth, in a quiet area, while Eibar is penultimate.
In LaLiga Smartbank only UD Almería and Rayo Vallecano got the three points. Almeria is the best ranked of Friends of Football Impact, in third position. Behind Rayo 6th UD Alcorcón 11th, Málaga 16th, Depor 18th, Las Palmas 19th and UD Extremadura 21st.
FC Krasnodar, FC Rostov and FC Lokomotiv of Moscow rank first, third and fifth respectively in the Russian Premier League. These three friend clubs visited us in 2019 during the Winter Break, playing friendly matches organized by Football Impact in their preparation.
After eight days played, only Rostov and Krasnodar with Zenit have lost only one game. Thanks to this, the three share the leadership of the highest category of Russian football with 17 points. Lokomotiv ranks fifth with fourteen points in a position that grants access to the Europe League.
Next Thursday the 19th, Krasnodar will begin its participation in a new edition of the Europe League. It will face FC Basel, another friend of Football Impact who visited us this winter too.
For its part, “loko” will debut a day earlier in the Champions League. The Muscovites will face FC Bayer Leverkusen in Germany in their first match in Group D, which they share with Atlético and Juventus.
Football Impact friends Molde FK and Aalesunds FK lead the Eliteserien and OBOS-ligaen respectively, the first and second division of Norwegian football.
It is not surprising that our friends are the leaders, since almost all clubs in these two categories are Football Impact customers.
During the last phase of the Winter Break is when these teams go to the Costa del Sol to perform their winter preseason. They are the last to arrive, since their national championship does not start until the last days of March or the first days of April.
Currently both competitions have exceeded the half of the season and face the second part of the championship.
The list of Eliteserien and OBOS-Ligaen teams that train during the Winter Break with Football Impact is made up of the following clubs:
A total of 7 SmartBank League teams have worked with Football Impact during 2019. This list of teams is made up of: Málaga CF, UD Las Palmas, UD Almería, Rayo Vallecano, AD Alcorcón, Extremadura FC and RC Deportivo de La Coruña.
To this list should be added RCD Mallorca and Granada CF, newly promoted and Real Valladolid CF, which rose last year.
More and more of first and second division football clubs are betting on Football Impact to hire their services. The high level of attention to the desires of each club, the personalization of the services, first class facilities and first level friendly matches, make Football Impact an unbeateable option.
The second division of Spanish football has already performed four games and each team tries to reach its objectives. From the Costa del Sol and the Costa Blanca, we wish our friends the best in this season that has just begun.
The Russian and Irish U-17 teams played an exciting match today with some of the young pearls of international football. A duel marked by impressive intensity and tactical rigor, although with some doses of genius that will undoubtedly have called the attention of international scouts who usually visit this kind of games.
Victory with small advantage due to the equality of both teams. Good victory of the Russian team, but the Irish pushed strong and there were phases of the game in which it was not clear who would get the victory.
Both the Russian and the Irish Federation are staying in Meliá Villaitana Football Center, where both have remained to prepare this game and last Friday’s friendly.
The two teams intend to participate in the European Under-17 to be held in Estonia and have decided to share a stage in Benidorm with Football Impact. This way they can be measured in high-level friendly matches, before their participation in the qualifiers of the coming months.
The U17 teams of Ireland and Russia will play the second game of the two scheduled during their stay on the Costa Blanca.
Both teams are currently training at the facilities of the Meliá Villaitana Football Center complex in Benidorm. In this large complex not only for sports, teams can be isolated from media noise to work with maximum concentration and without having to travel.
On Monday, September 9th at 1:00 PM, the second of the matches between these teams organized by Football Impact will begin at Camilo Cano Sports City.
The two teams want to be part of the European Under-17 Championship to be held next year in Estonia. It is because the teams go to Football Impact, with the intention of preparing this important event with training and top level matches.
At the end of September both sets will begin the qualification phase. While the Irish will play against Andorra in November, the Russians will do the same in October against San Marino.
The U17 national teams of Russia and Ireland will play tomorrow at Camilo Cano Sports City of La Nucia, Alicante. The match will start at 6:00 PM and will be the first of the two games that will play both national teams against each other.
Both federations are regular Football Impact customers. On this occasion they have decided to perform a stage at Villaitana Football Center. The Russians arrived last Monday, day 2nd and will stayin the sports complex for 9 days, until day 10th. For their part, the Irish arrived on Wednesday, day 4th and will train at Villaitana Football Center until next Monday.
The second match will also be held in the Camilo Cano Sports City. It will be on Monday 9th, but this time the ball will start rolling at 1:00 p.m.
Although there is still a lot of season still, the most intense phase of the year has passed. The first months of the year and the summer preseason are the months in which Football Impact develops most of its activity.
This year we have had, as always, some of the most important teams in the world, such as the European champion, Liverpool. The team from Anfield visited us for the second consecutive year to prepare for the Champions League final. Jurgen Klopp’s men proclaimed themselves champions after an epic season.
Like every year, we were also visited by Borussia Dortmund, who finished just two points behind the Bundesliga champion, FC Bayern Munich. The team currently led by Lucien Favre is one of the oldest clients of Football Impact.
During the summer preseason there was also an intense activity, specially of Spanish first division teams. These are the elite teams of Spanish football that are part of the Football Impact client portfolio:
The Denmark team that trains the former Norwegian player Åge Hareide is already in Marbella Football Center, performing a stage with Football Impact. Concentrated in Marbella they have developed activities in the Gymnasium and in the main field of the Marbella Football Center. They have reached the Costa del Sol prior to their UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying matches against Gibraltar on September 5, 2019 and Georgia on September 8, 2019.
