On the lawn of the Marienlyst Stadion, Bodo/Glimt and Stromsgodset IF (both friends of Football Impact), the championship of the Eliteserien, the first division of Norwegian football, was resolved.
Bodo/Glimt with their 1-2 victory and their 18-point lead, certified what is the first title in their 104-year history. And they did it five days in advance! FI and MFC are happy to see our friends’ work paying off.
With this victory, the team will also make the leap to the Champions League, the most important competition in the world of football. Now it’s time to celebrate and prepare for next season to revalidate the title and qualify for the final phase of the Champions League
The current Norwegian champions visited us in February, staying at the Hotel H10 in Estepona. The facilities of Santa María Polo de Sotogrande served the team to perform the preparation for this important season.
Yesterday we were all surprised by the death of Maradona, a tragic news that has convulsed the world of football. Despite the sadness of the news, at MFC we prefer to think that D10s have already reached heaven, where he rests.
The Argentine star, who was the manager of his beloved Argentina in 2008, visited us this year, playing a match. The mere presence of the “fluff” was a real event wherever he went, and his time at Marbella Football Center was no less so.
At our facilities, for many years anyone can see a bust of the star from Lanús, along with other of the greats of world football.
As a player, Diego made his debut very early in Argentinos Juniors, from where he went to Boca Juniors and quickly to FC Barcelona. After a year at Barça, he would end up signing for Napoli SS, a club where he gave the best of his career.
With unparalleled technical quality and an indomitable temperament, Maradona became the best player in history, making Napoli the Serie A champion and Argentina the world champion. And it is because Maradona was not only a great player, he was a leader without equal, with a huge personality and hierarchy.
From MFC and FI we want to show the great pain that this loss supposes us as soccer lovers. We also want to offer our condolences to his family, friends and football lovers. Rest in peace Diego. We will never forget you!
The Spanish U-20 Women’s National Team continues on the Costa del Sol. The team trained normally today on the Marbella Football Center grass, where they have performed a training match, and also in the gym.
The team will finish its stage with Marbella Football Center tomorrow. Despite the fact that the U-20 Women’s World Cup has been postponed to 2022 (originally it was in January 2021), this time in MFC has served the team to strengthen itself.
The group will finish this stay at the Costa del Sol stronger and it will help the players to make merits to attract the attention of the absolute team.
Thanks to the security measures of MFC and the good climate of the Costa del Sol, the team has been able to carry out a quiet stage, only focused on the growth of the players and the team.
The Spanish U20 women’s team arrived today on the Costa del Sol to perform a 4-day stage with Marbella Football Center. In 2018 the team already visited us before becoming runner-up in the World Cup.
And the RFEF is one of the friends of Football Impact and Marbella Football Center and visits us with their different teams on numerous occasions. Just a few days ago, the U21 men’s team left our facilities after a 10-day stage.
Spanish women’s football bets on Marbella Football Center, partly because MFC anda FI also bet on women’s football. In recent years, the arrival of female teams has become more and more common.
National teams such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Holland, Norway, Russia or Ireland have recently visited us.This makes possible the option to perform friendly matches between the teams that visit us.

The 10-day stay of “La Rojita” in our high performance center has been a total success. Two comfortable victories, one against the Faroe Islands and the other against Israel, both played at the Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas Stadium in Marbella.
At MFC and FI we are very grateful to the RFEF for their trust in our service and facilities. There are several occasions in which the national team has opted for Marbella Football Center and Football Impact. We are proud to work with the Spanish team.
“La Rojita” played yesterday the last match of the qualifying phase for the U21 European Championship which will be played next summer at Hungary and Slovenia. The duel against Israel ended with a 3-0 result in favor of the Spanish team.
After a dull first half, Brahim’s entry in the second half energized the team, which managed to win with goals by López, Barrenetxea and Moncayola.
This is the last official rehearsal for Luis de la Fuente’s team before itsparticipation in the U21 European Championship. Spain is the current champion of the tournament and has already lifted the title five times. With 20 goals in favor and only 1 against, the Spanish team has only tied 1 game, getting almost all the points.
Players like Brahim, Guillamón, Pedro Porro, Aleñá, Pedri, Óscar or Bryan Gil, make the Spanish team one of the main candidates for the title.
From Marbella Football Center we trust that the 10 days of “La Rojita” on the Costa del Sol have helped the team to get stronger and to become six time champions next summer.
Tomorrow, starting at 18:45, the U21 teams of Spain and Israel will meet in the last match of the qualifying group for the U21 European Championship. The Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas Stadium in Marbella will host this important match.

Now the team will travel to Kazajistán, where they will play the last game of this qualifying group for the U21 European Championship.
We want to thank the Faroe Island team to have bet on Marbella Football Center and Football Impact for this stage. We hope this stage has been good for them, as it was in 2016, and they repeat with us soon.
The Spanish under-21 team beat yesterday the Faroe Islands under-21 team yesterday by 2-0 with goals by Pedrosa and López. Today is his fifth day of stage on the Costa del Sol with Football Impact.
After the victory, the Spaniards continue their stage at Marbella Football Center looking forward the confrontation against the Israel team. Although the Spanish team has already qualified for the European Under-21 Championship, this stage of the Spanish team is very important, as it will be the last of the team before the European Under-21 Championship.
The RFEF has chosen Marbella Football Center after previous stays. In fact, some of the team members already know us, such as Julen Guerrero or the managerLuis de la Fuente.
During the team’s stay in Marbella, one of the team members received a call from Luis Enrique. Left-back Cucurella has dropped out of concentration to join the senior team, further spurring this highly motivated player.
