Catar’s U-23 football team won this afternoon with 2-0 a friendly match against a team from Malaga CF, organised by Football Impact. The goals from this match at the Marbella Football Center scored Yusuf Abdulrasiq in the 38th minute and Khalid Mazeed two minutes before the final whistle.
The Qatar U-23 is also known as the Olympic team and represents the country at the Olympic Games, the Asian Games and the Gulf Nations Cup. It has been in Marbella since the 3rd of December and will continue to prepare in the city until the 20th of December for the Asian Cup, which will be held between the 8th and 26th of January in Thailand.
One day before its return to Qatar on the 19th of December, it will play another friendly match against Andorra’s U-21 at the Marbella Football Center.
This morning the Champions League’s draw was held, with two friends of Football Impact in the raffle. Liverpool and Borussia met the rivals that will be measured on February 18th and March 11th.
Liverpool will visit Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in their first game and will receive Atlético at Anfield three weeks later. Borussia, for its part, will receive PSG at the Signal Iduna Park in the first leg and visit the Princes’ Park in the return duel.

Borussia Dortmund beat FSV Mainz 05 on the fifteenth day of the Bundesliga in a duel of friends of Football Impact. The team is in a great moment, has achieved 10 points in the last four days and continues third.
The goals of Reus, Sancho, Hazard and Schulz gave victory to the team from Rhine, which in the next day will have the opportunity to decrease the disadvantage with the leader. RB Leipzig will visit the Signal Iduna Park for a duel that could leave Borussia just one point behind the lead.

Until January the 11th the team, which won the Netherlands Cup in 2014, will perform in this enclave surrounded by golf courses its winter stage. The six days on the Costa del Sol will be used by Zwolle to test new playing strategies and work on team building.
The clubs of the Jupiter Pro League of Belgium trust Spain as a destination for the winter pre-season. From the 4th to the 11th of January 2020 KRC Genk will be back in Villaítana (Benidorm), while Zulte Waregem has chosen Andalusia to carry out their training sessions at the Marbella Football Center between the 6th and 13th of January. In the Belgian first division, Football Impact’s friends occupy the 6th and 8th places of their corresponding classification.
Borussia Mönchengladbach, currently leading the Bundesliga classification by 31 points, is back on course for Jerez de la Frontera. In the Andalusian city, the traditional German club, is preparing between the 5th and 11th of January for the second round of the season. It is the second consecutive time that the Colts will lodge in the Hotel Barceló Montecastillo Golf, where they will also carry out the training sessions. Gladbach celebrated their last victory last weekend, when they beat Bayern München 2-1. The last three rivals in the first division in December are Wolfsburg, Paderborn and Hertha BS Berlin.
Like last year the FSV Mainz 05 will come to Estepona for its winter training camp, which is usually carried out during the break of the Bundesliga at the Costa del Sol under the organization of Football Impact. Achim Beierlorzer’s team finds there sunshine and good facilities for daily training. During their stay from the 5th to 12th of January they will use the Arroyo Enmedio pitch, which is just a few metres from their hotel. The club from the capital of the German state Rhineland-Palatinate will also take advantage of the week in Spain to experience different tactics in friendly matches.
Today the last day of the Europa League is played with many friends of Football Impact still in the fight to enter the final phase. Almost all the groups have to be decided, only Sevilla, Espanyol and Celtic know that they will be first in the group.
While in group A Sevilla already has its work done, in B Copenhagen, Malmö and Dinamo Kiev (three friends of Football Impact) will fight to move on to the next round.
The same happens in group C, in which three other friends of Football Impact (Getafe, Krasnodar and Basel) will play for the two places that give access to the next round.
In group G Young Boys Bern and Feyenoord will try to get both places in the most even group of the entire competition.
In group J Borussia Mönchengladbach (leader of the Bundesliga) will fight against Rome and Basaksehir.
The “wolves” that were on the Costa del Sol until yesterday, will play the first position of group K against SC Braga. Meanwhile, in group L AZ Almaar will do the same, disputing the position with Manchester United.
One of the football clubs in the Netherlands who have chosen the Costa del Sol for their winter pre-season is FC Twente. Together with Football Impact, the team and its staff will come to Benahavís on 4th of January, where they will carry out their training sessions. Until the 10th of January, the club of the city of Enschede has confirmed its stay in that municipality, located between Marbella and Estepona. The club was founded on 1st of July 1965 and currently plays in the Eredivisie, the first category of football in its country.
