The U21 teams of Switzerland, Ireland and Denmark have finished their training camp at Marbella Football Center. The three teams are leaving the Costa del Sol after a stay of approximately one week.
Switzerland had the shortest training camp of only five days. During this time they trained at the Dama de Noche facilities and played a match against the Irish team, winning 2-0.
The Irish, on the other hand, had a longer 10-day training camp at Atalaya Football Pitches. As well as losing to Switzerland, as mentioned above, they also played two other matches, beating Australia’s U-23 team (who are preparing for the Olympic Games) 1-0 and losing to Denmark by the same scoreline.
Denmark’s training camp lasted eight days. Victory against Ireland by 1-0 as we have already mentioned and defeat against the Olympic team of Argentina by 1-2.
We wish the best of luck to our friends in future competitions!
