Santiago Bernabeu stadium hosted yesterday one of the best Real Madrid – Barcelona in the recent times. A exciting match in wich we had everything: goals, red card, controversy, constant attacks and counterattacks, good stops and individual actions…
Real Madrid started in front with a goal by Casemiro, who seized a rebound after a shot by Sergio Ramos, who recieved a pass by Marcelo. Previously, Marcelo should have been expelled by hitting Messi with his elbow. Casemiro should have been expelled too.
Only a few minutes later Messi tied the game after a play in wich he got the ball and scored with an accurate shot that Keylor Navas couldn’t stop.
The break started with this draw and after it the match became crazy and both teams could score, but the goalkeepers performed a wonderful match.
Rakitic broke the tie when he scored from outside the penalty area with his left leg. Just some minutes later Sergio Ramos was expelled by a violent action that could have damaged Messi.
Real Madrid kept trying with ten players and James, who had just entered the field seized a pass from Marcelo and tied the game. It seemed that the match would finish with this result.
But a counterattack in the extra time finished in Messi’s feet, who scored from outside the penalty area to kill the game and put Barça leader with the same points, although they have ome more match tan Real Madrid.
